In this climb, there were:

  • Stairs
  • A murder hole and small openings for archers to defend themselves 🏹
  • Must-see photo spots 😉📸
  • A unique view of Valencia 👍
  • And even more stairs…

The Summit of the Towers

The view from the top of the Towers makes all those stairs worthwhile, it’s incredible! The flags of Valencia and Spain stand tall on each tower. Photo spots are everywhere 😉📸

History

The Quart Towers, or Torres de Quart in Spanish, are one of the few remnants of the city’s old fortifications. They were built in the 15th century and survived many sieges and battles, including those led by Napoleonic troops in the 19th century.

You can still see cannonball impacts on the walls of the towers, bearing witness to their tumultuous past in this picture ⬇

Conclusion

The Quart Towers are more than just a historical monument. So, on your next visit to Valencia, remember to make a little detour to discover these wonders. You won’t regret it! 👍
